Tanny joined the family business in 1987 and was named to her current role in 2003. As president and CEO, she provides the company with overall strategic direction and leadership development.
She is an avid supporter of the Crane on Board program, serving on many local boards, including Huntington Bancshares, Inc., Columbus Foundation, Columbus City School Foundation, Columbus Partnership, Fisher College of Business Advisory Board and Ohio Health. In the past, she has served as board chair and campaign chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, United Way of Central Ohio, and has served on the board of Action for Children.
Tanny is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She also earned an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
Mike Crane
President, The Crane Group Companies
Mike joined Crane Group in 1989 as general counsel and was named to his current role in 2007. As president, Mike manages Crane Group’s operating business units.
He is an active corporate volunteer, serving on the boards of several local organizations, including the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association, Capital University, the Columbus Academy, and the US Bank Advisory Board (Columbus). He is also a past president of the Buckeye Ranch Foundation.
He is a graduate of Harvard College and The Ohio State University College of Law.
Randy J. Fortener
President, Crane Investment Company
Randy joined Crane Group in 1990 and was named to his current role in 2007. As president, he directs all investment and acquisition activity for the company. He currently holds leadership positions within the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He also serves on the board of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
Randy is a graduate of the University of Findlay, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He also earned an M.B.A. from the University of Dayton.
Timothy T. Miller, C.P.A., J.D. Vice President and General Counsel, Crane Group
Tim was named to his current title in 2007, after having served as general counsel for Crane Group for the previous ten years. In this position, he serves as chief legal officer for the Crane Group. He has been with the company since 1992.
He currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the Omicron Alumni Association, the Community Shelter Board, the United Way of Central Ohio, and the Columbus School for Girls. He is a past board member of Faith Mission and Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO).
Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association. He earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, Champaign, in 1980 and a law degree from Loyola University, Chicago, in 1987.
Paul Demboski
President, Able Roofing
Paul has been with Crane in various positions for over sixteen years, most recently as CFO for The Crane Group Companies. In 2009, he was selected as "CFO of the Year" by Business First in the "large private company category" for Central Ohio.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Paul holds both a BSBA in accounting and a C.P.A.
Paul is currently serving on the Board of "A Kid Again" as Vice-Chair and Finance Committee Chair. He also serves on the Board of Mother Angeline McCrory Manner Home for the Aged. He has been involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization since 1989 as a Board member and as a big brother. He is an active member of St. Brigid of Kildare parish in Dublin, and has been involved in numerous other civic organizations.
Jon Bowsher
President and CEO, Signature Control Group
Jon joined Signature Control Systems in September, 2010. Since then, Jon has been focused on developing a repeatable business model that includes establishing goals, developing performance measurements, creating a culture of accountability and designing a strategic plan, with an emphasis on growth.
Jon currently serves on the board of The Crossroads Community Development Corporation and is Chairman of the Missions Board at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. Jon also serves on the board of the Wine Guy Wine Shop and Bistro.
Jon earned a Master of Arts from The Ohio State University in June 1991, and received his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Toledo.
Duane Bryant
President, Crane Materials International
Duane joined Crane Group in 2003 when the two companies merged. During his career he has held critical management roles at Fuji Films, Rexam PLC and IPG prior to joining Crane Group.
Duane is a graduate of FSU, where he earned a bachelor of science in engineering. He also holds a MBA in corporate finance.
Scott Schnell
President, EverMark
Scott joined Evermark/LNL in July, 2011. He is an entrepreneur and values passion, initiative and execution in those he works with. His prior experience includes senior leadership positions at Pike Nurseries, RMA Home Services and The ScoreBoard/Classic Games.
He serves on the board of The Paideia School and is the current Chair of the Development Committee and serves on several other board committees. He also coaches youth soccer.
Scott graduated from the University of Michigan, and became a Certified Public Accountant early in his career.
Tim Tait
President, Engineered Profiles
Tim joined Crane Group in 2003 and was named president of Crane Plastics in 2007. In 2009, Tim and members of his management team purchased from Crane Group a majority interest in the company. Now, as president of Engineered Profiles, he is responsible for managing the company’s growth and profitability. He is active in the Crane on Board program, serving as a member of the Columbus Urban League’s Board of Directors.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and economics. He also earned an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
